Introducing Lynnli Jane Storm!!!!!!!!

June 23, 2011, 2:32 pm Lynnli Jane Storm made her presence in this scary world. Weighing in at 7 lbs 4 1/2 oz and 18.5 inches long. She is beautiful and so many ways. I'll post a picture and then I will tell the story. Original due date was June 18, 2011. However, Lynnli had her own ideas of what was going on. I went to the Dr on the 21st thinking that my water broke, only to be sent home and schedule for an induction the next day at 5:00 pm. The plan originally was to induce on the 27 because the Dr had to leave town to be at his daughters wedding. So we were a little shocked when we found out we were going earlier then that. So at 4:45 we checked into the hospital in hopes of having a normal delivery. At about 7 the balloon was inserted and I was 2 cm and 60% effaced. An hour later the balloon came out and I was 3 cm and 80% effaced so we thought the ball was rolling. However, nothing changed even with the Pit going. At 2:00 am the nurse shut off the pit to let me rest and would restart at 6:30. The pit was started at 6:30 and the contractions were more intense. Around 8 the Dr came and broke my water, then we waited. I was checked and nothing had changed. The epi (which I slept through) came after a contraction caused me to get sick and start throwing up. This made things a lot more comfortable. At noon there was still no change so Dr was very honest with me and said I don't think this is going to happen and for your sake and the babies I think we need to do a C-section.

Around 2:30 I was taken down for the C-section and things went great. I slept through this also and was woke up to Greg saying Babe I know why you had so much heart burn. To which I saw a beautiful head of hair and heard a little cry. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. In the delivery room she was so alert, looking around, watching what was going on, and seeming so content on being in this world.

She was greeted by Granny and Pappy to which a lot of tears were shed. When Gage got to the room he was like a kid in a candy store. I was still a little out of it so he got the camera and was Mr. Photographer. So many pictures. I even asked at one point.....what are you taking a picture of....to which he said......that thing hangin on the bed......YOU are taking pictures of my pee....I replied.......He said no that bag there and pointed to my bag of pee. So when he found out what it was he said OH and didn't take another picture of it. I had to laugh.

We were in the hospital until Saturday. I was a little nervous about how the first night home was going to go but it was great. Lynnli slept well, ate well, and was very content. I was a little shocked when she only got up 2 times in the night. It has been wonderful having this Precious Baby Girl added to our family.

I just sit and look at her sometimes and the best part is when I sit and watch her with her Daddy. It melts my heart and makes me fall in love with him over and over again.
